  7. Whale Watching from Point Cabrillo Lighthouse!

    Mom and I just got back from Mendocino, CA to watch the gray whales  migrating  from Baja California.  They swam past the headlands on their annual migration North to their summer feeding grounds in the Bering and Chukchi Seas of Alaska (got that from the paper).

    Mom and a bunch of other humans were watching the water & taking pictures - I couldn’t see much - I was watching this really great duck!  I was just watching - Mom kept feeding me and telling me I’m was doing a good job- I would rather be chasing the duck - but the food was great!

    Mom found out later that we were there on one of the best whale watching days of the season!!!  Wow!!!
